The Dagmar and Václav Havel Foundation VIZE 97 has a wide range of activities and interests. It focuses primarily on cultural activities and medical aid. In the spirit of its name, the Foundation focuses its efforts and goals primarily on the future, without neglecting some of the pressing problems of the present. The Foundation's activities are deeply meaningful, because supporting what will only be appreciated in time, what is pioneering and visionary, is often perceived by society as unimportant and peripheral, as something that still has time and does not need to be addressed. The Foundation seeks to counter and correct this "myopia" with its projects. This is also its mission and irreplaceable place.
